Your adventure begins as soon as you imagine yourself in Sicily’s incredible Madonie Mountains. This 3-day/2-night Madonie trek departs from the town of Castelbuono, at the foot of the Carbonara Massif, and reaches Pizzo Carbonara (1979 m), the highest peak of the Madonie Mountains.

There is simply far too much to see and do in the Madonie Natural Park for us to list here. Instead, we would like to draw your attention to some aspects of this 3-day hike that never ceases to impress our guests.
You can look forward to gorgeous grottoes, monumental trees, geological sites, breathtaking landscapes, and a plethora of rare, endemic plant species, butterflies, and various insects. There really is nowhere else on Earth quite like the Madonie.
The trek will be guided by a naturalist guide member of AIGAE (Associazione Italiana Guide Ambientali Escursionistiche). This official qualification assures you that the experience will be of the highest quality and that you will be in safe hands throughout the duration of the trip.

On the first day you will meet your guide in Castelbuono (Province of Palermo) at 9:00 am. If you aren’t sure where this is, don’t worry, as you will be provided with a map indicating the meeting point when you book. You can always contact us to ask for more information. We suggest you sleep in the area the night before and we can provide you with a list of accommodation.
Note: In the event of bad or dangerous weather conditions, the trek may be modified or cancelled.
