The perfect hike to discover the amazing Madonie nature in one day
During this hike in the Madonie Natural Park, we will reach some of the most beautiful places of the Carbonara Massif. We will go through a big variety of habitats: woods of evergreens, mountain pastures rich in rare plants and butterflies, karst dolines, woods of beech trees (the southernmost ones in Europe), wood of giants holly trees, centuries-old trees, etc. (more about the Madonie biodiversity and geology).
Along the trail we will enjoy many beautiful panoramic viewpoints and on clear days, we will be able to see as far as Mount Etna. Herds of fallow deer, raptors, corvids and butterflies can often be seen.
